I love these old Harmony baritones. They’re relatively inexpensive but feature all solid mahogany bodies which age well producing a lovely warm tone. The other thing that is great about them is they have a 19 inch scale. Most modern baritone have a 20-21 inch scale. The shorted scale to my ears produces a warmer and more gentle tone that suits a baritone body perfectly in my option. This one had beautiful figuring to the rosewood fretboard and is in very good condition. It had gorgeous faux tortoiseshell binding and original friction pegs in great working condition. The action on it is very high though, hence a slightly lower price. It would benefit from a neck reset at sone point. In first position though it plays beautifully and the string tension is low enough that it’s easy to play all over.
