This year at the Uke Room we’re showcasing the work of some of the UK and Europe finest ukulele builders. I have chosen ukulele builders that are doing something very special and Marco Todeschini is definitely doing that. I met Marco at the Ukulele Festival of Scotland and fell in love with his ukuleles so much that I bought one for myself.
The Libero range keeps things simple without coloured bindings and bevel. On a smaller uke though I think it’s all the better for it – it has beautiful clean lines and a real elegance to it. This version Marco made for us features upgrades in a solid red spruce top, cypress binding and a gorgeous rosette.
This one is actually my personal favourite of the bunch (though they’re all amazing!) It has a real punch for soprano and great volume.
We’ll be getting many more batches of Marco’s ukuleles in the future but hurry, the last ones sold out before I even got to list them!
