It’s been a while since we had a big stock of KoAloha but I’ve decided we’re once again going to offer a more extensive range of their ukes. This was the first Hawaiian brand we started with at the old shop and their quality has only increased in those years. Of all the factory made ukes we’ve stocked over the years KoAloha have been the most consistent in tone and sound. I don’t know how they do it but every single individual one sounds superb. There is definitely a KoAloha signature sound which is warm and woody with heaps of volume. Each one has a lovely low action, especially super low at the nut, which makes them SO easy to play.
The KoAloha Opio range are made in Thailand to reduce the costs and give a chance to own a beautiful KoAloha at a lower price than their Hawaiian made range. They are made to a very high standard though using the KoAloha design template and are quality checked by KoAloha.
The KCO-10 features an all solid acacia body which gives a similar tone to koa with really strong mids. It’s slightly more mellow than the spruce Opios.
They come with a really nice branded gig bag.
