This is genuinely a once in a lifetime opportunity to get a stunning custom Ko’Olau CS tenor for half the normal price. This is a custom tenor made by hand by Noah Bonk at Ko’Olau with a redwood top and Macassar ebony back and sides. The reason for the discount is that the redwood top suffered two tiny cracks in transit. These have been professionally repaired and the finish is so neat they’re actually now invisible.
This is the uke that I get most compliments on when I play as it has a very warm tone. You can hear a sample in the video below.
It features a radius fretboard, beautiful abalone purfling, koa binding and a K&K Twin Aloha pickup (my absolute favourite and only pickup I use personally.)
It is an heirloom quality professional instrument (Ko’Olau is used by some of the best players on the planet, especially jazz uke players) and will make somebody very happy.
NB: The little metal dot on the back of the headstock is a little magnetic device I use for my tuner! It comes off with zero residue. I can take it off or you can have the magnetic tuner yourself – it’s very cool!
