Description
This is an absolutely stunning custom tenor made by Noa Bonk of Ko’Olau on Oahu, Hawaii. The CS models feature more rounded body design which gives a really nice bass response whilst still keeping that clear immediate Ko’Olau sound. It’s a beaut. The Sitka spruce features really nice bear claw figuring. The spruce has already opened up and turned a lovely amber. It produces a lovely open mellow tone. The koa on this one is amazing! The flaming is really extreme – when you look at it it the light it shimmers.
Noa has made a feature of it on the headstock faceplate too.
It features a really nice radius fretboard, making playing really comfortable and a real joy. It also had a beautiful understated abalone rosette and rosewood binding. It features a K&K pickup and a really nice Ko’Olau hard case.
This one is in excellent condition. There is some surface strum marks and a few dings but all purely cosmetic. It looks and plays great.
