We’re selling this rare but very cool Leho thinline Tenor ukulele for local uke performer/teacher/legend Steven Sproat. It’s a superb sounding uke and the B-Band active pickup is really nice. It does have significant strum wear but structurally completely sound.
In his own words: This has been my main gigging ukulele for the last 4 years since buying this Tenor ukulele in Singapore while doing some ukulele workshops out there. It’s a thin body but doesn’t lack volume! It has a solid Cedar top which is ageing and darkening very nicely and gives it a older retro look. It has mahogany back and sides and fitted with a ‘B Band ‘pick up with onbody volume and tone control. The uke has a nice ‘shell’ emblem inlay at neck to body , also a ‘shell’ inlay on fingerboard. Leho means ‘shell’ in Hawaiian. This brand isn’t available in UK so you don’t see many like this over here. A loud, lovely tone , accurate up the fretboard (14 frets to the body ) and fitted at present with Aquila Lava strings.
