There is something magical in these fluke and flea ukuleles and it’s not just the name. The sound they produce always surprises me – deep lows and very loud. They are made with a wooden soundboard but composite back and sides. This makes them fairly indestructible, which is handy if you’re playing this at your local group. The maple neck is topped with a molded thermoplastic fretboard. The accuracy of this means that you get spot on intonation and a very comfortable action with no buzzing.
This one features a players side port so that you can hear that little bit more of what you’re playing it really does work – when you cover it you realise how it really adds to the sound the player hears.
I’m a huge fan of Magic Fluke and have several at home. They look and feel wonderful and they sound amazing.
