Here we have an utterly stunning master grade koa tenor by Pete Howlett from 2012. It is in very good condition with just some minimal surface marks for its age and no dings or scratches. It’s an absolute beauty and Pete is no longer building this kind of model. The mirror like gloss finish really shows off the beautifully figured koa and the classy slotted headstock finishes the look perfectly. It also features a bound fretboard for comfort playing and gorgeous abalone purfling and rosette.
The sound is classic Pete Howlett in that it has good volume and lots of sustain (right up the neck to the very highest frets). The koa definitely gives this a bright and delicate tone – very beautiful abs exceptional for fingerstyle.
Comes in a quality pod case.
