Here’s an unusual bargain for somebody! This brilliant Creme brûlée thin body concert by Rebel has a bit of a sorry tale. It came to me with the bridge popped off which I repaired with no problems. Unfortunately after I finished the repair I managed to pick it up in its case not realising it was unzipped. So having been repaired flawlessly this poor uke took a trip across a concrete floor!

I have checked it over and it is structurally sound. There are no problems at all eternally or internally. However the finish has cracked in many places. I could sand it down and refinish it but as it plays beautifully and I don’t have the time I’m going  to sell it as is.

It’s such a shame about the cosmetic damage as it is an absolutely wonderful ukulele with a sweet warm tone and it’s such a joy to play. The mango wood is really lovely on this one and the Gotoh UPT tuners are, as always, wonderful.

These are £699 new with prices going up so this is now a great opportunity for someone.
