This is a really cool old banjolele that Phil restored for us. It still has the original vellum in great condition, a nice low action (which makes it super comfortable to play), a straight neck and new geared tuners and Flurocarbon strings. It was manufactured by Hawkes & Son back in the in the 1920s and amazingly plays and sounds brilliant! It’s especially great for old time and Formby style music. It comes with its original case, which though battered and bruised is a great piece of history in itself.
