Description
Not nearly enough love gets given to the Barnes and Mullins ukes from the 1960s. I rate them easily up there with Harmony and Regal ukes. Samuel Barnes and Albert Mullins we’re childhood friends who went into business in 1894 marketing banjo and later banjo ukuleles. This one has a really lovely sunburst finish, which still looks great and really interesting figuring to the birch laminate wood on the back. They’re really well made, and though made of laminate materials they have a nice old vintage woody tone. Better still, they play really nicely and this one still has many more years in it to be enjoyed.
