We are very excited to announce that we will be running a very special residential week of ukulele learning in the beautiful surroundings of El Pilar in Andalucia, Spain. This is your chance to swap your usual Autumn for a week on holiday in the Spanish sunshine with great music,

friendship, incredible food, culture, fun and relaxation.

Nestled in the picturesque foothills of Los Filabres among olive groves and almond trees lies the superb hotel Casona Granado. Equipped with splashpool, hot tub, gorgeous terraces and fountains you can get away from it all and enjoy a wonderful stay, dining on fantastic cuisine.

You can attend a range of ukulele lessons each day with two great tutors, who will cater to all abilities and styles. From beginners ukulele to advanced fingerstyle, we will ensure that there is something for everyone and all will come away having learned a wealth of new skills. As well as workshops, we’ll have concerts and ample opportunity to jam with new friends in a welcome and inclusive atmosphere. In the evening you can sit on the terrace, enjoying the sunset with a glass of wine (or OJ!) and practice what you’ve learned.

We’ll have a free day mid-week so you can have some time to explore the region. We’re staying close to many of the cultural hubs of Almeria including the Alhambra Palace at Granada:

Or you can head to one of the many gorgeous coastal villages for lunch by the Mediterranean, such as Mojacar or Cabo de Gata natural park. A great cultural day would be a visit to the Arabic baths followed by a tapas route through the old Bario of Almeria.
