Anyone that know me well know how much I believe in the quality of Phil Davidson’s ukuleles, so much so that I own two of his ukes personally and two of his guitars! There’s just something in the way Phil builds that results instruments with the deepest, richest tones of any I’ve tried.
This one features Phil’s favourite choice of woods – maple back and sides with a European spruce top (incidentally the same combination Stradivarius used for his violins!)
This is a used concert with a beautiful tobacco burst finish. It has been well used and does feature quite a few scuffs and the odd ding here and there. It does mean that it’s opened up beautifully and had a lovely warm open tone. It has really great quality Gotoh UPT tuners.
It comes with a hard case.
