Super cool Regal from the 1950s! Regal were a musical instrument producer started by Emil Wulschner in the late 1800s in Chicago. They produced many great fretted instruments including guitars, dobros, mandolins and ukuleles. In the mid twentieth century they produced a great range of ukuleles inspired by Art Deco designs. They’re very collectible and really nice pieces of ukulele history.
This one has seen some action over the years but the damage is purely superficial. It still plays fine and unusually for these has the original tuners that work perfectly. It also has the original Gleib case which is also collectible alone. It’s in very good clean condition.
